The Cincinnati Reds are signing utilityman Chad Pinder to a Minor League deal, according to a report.

Pinder, 30, will be in camp with the Reds as non-roster invitee once the deal is finalized.

He joins the Reds after spending parts of seven seasons with the Oakland Athletics.

The Atlanta Braves have agreed to a Minor League deal with infielder Adeiny Hechavarria.

The club has also signed outfielders Magneuris Sierra and Forrest Wall, and reliever Brian Moran to Minor League deals.

All four players will receive non-roster invitations to Spring Training.

Longtime broadcaster Chip Caray is taking over as the television play-by-play voice of the St. Louis Cardinals, more than five decades after his grandfather and Hall of Fame broadcaster Harry Caray became a baseball staple with the same club.

Bally Sports Midwest announced Caray's hiring in a statement Monday.

Josh Harrison is joining the Philadelphia Phillies on a one-year, $2 million deal, according to reports.

Harrison, 35, appeared in 119 games with the Chicago White Sox during the 2022 season hitting .256/.317/.370 with seven homers while making 85 starts at second base and 20 at third.

He had his club option declined by the White Sox after the season, making him a free agent.

Reliever Pete Fairbanks has signed a three-year, $12 million contract extension with the Tampa Bay Rays that includes a club option for a fourth season, it was announced Friday.

Braves manager Brian Snitker, coming off the team's fifth consecutive National League East title, signed a contract extension Friday that runs through the 2025 season.

Snitker, 67, guided the Braves to the 2021 World Series championship before the team won 101 games last season.

The New York Mets have agreed to a four-year, $50 million contract extension with Jeff McNeil, according to sources.

McNeil, who turns 31 shortly after Opening Day, was scheduled to go to an arbitration trial with the Mets, where he was requesting $7.75 million and they offered $6.25 million.

The deal, which is pending a physical, includes a fifth-year club option that would take the total value to $63.75 million.

McNeil won the National League batting title in 2022.

A 10-year Major League veteran, Hernandez won a Gold Glove as a second baseman with the Cleveland Guardians in 2020.

Ronnie Gajownik has been hired as manager of the Hillsboro Hops, becoming the first woman to manage a minor league Class High-A team, the Arizona Diamondbacks announced Friday.

The 29-year-old Gajownik (pronounced Gah-jow-nick) served as video coordinator for the Hops in 2021. She was on the coaching staff of the Amarillo Sod Poodles, the Diamondbacks' Double-A affiliate, last season as first-base coach.
