Torrealba receives a two-year deal for $6.25M, with $3M of it coming in the first year and $3.25M in the second.

Former Yankees reliever Jonathan Albaladejo has agreed to a one-year, $950,000 contract with the Yomiuri Giants of Japan's Central League.
Albaladejo, who was released by the Yankees a week ago, spent the past three seasons with New York.
Dodgers Sign Garland To $5M Deal
The Dodgers have signed free-agent pitcher Jon Garland to a one-year, $5 million contract.
Garland will be the fifth starter for Los Angeles.
He will also be eligible to earn up to $3 million in performance-based incentives this season.
The contract includes an $8 million club option for 2012, which would vest if he pitches more than 190 innings in 2011.

The Dodgers finally announced new manager Don Mattingly's coaching staff on Monday. The group, which includes six major league coaches, two additional hitting instructors and two bullpen catchers, also features four newcomers, the most notable of which is first-base coach Davey Lopes, according to an ESPN.com report.
Dodgers Sign Pair Of Japanese Pitchers
The Dodgers have signed two Japanese amateurs -- college arm Kazuki Nishijima and prep pitcher Kazuya Takano -- to Minor League contracts.
Nishijima, a 21-year-old southpaw, is a senior at Meiji University in Tokyo, while the 18-year-old Takano is the first Japanese prep player ever signed by the Dodgers.
Rangers Sign Loux, Arizona's Draft Pick
The Rangers have signed right-hander Barret Loux, drafted by the Diamondbacks with the sixth-overall pick.
Loux became a free agent on Sept. 1 as part of an agreement approved by commissioner Bud Selig, instead of having to re-enter the draft next summer.
Arizona didn't sign Loux due to concerns the team had about the pitcher's health.
Texas Signs Kevin Cash

The Yankees today announced they have signed pitching coach Larry Rothschild to a three-year contract. The 2011 season will mark Rothschild?s 37th season in professional baseball as a player, coach or manager. He has served on the Major League coaching staff for two World Championship clubs ? the 1990 Reds and 1997 Marlins.
Rothschild, 56, joins the Yankees after serving as the Cubs pitching coach from 2002-10. Over the nine-year stretch, the Cubs pitching staff combined to lead the Majors in strikeouts (11,604). Cubs pitchers led the Majors in strikeouts in each of his first seven seasons as the club?s pitching coach through 2008, including a still-standing single-season Major League-record of 1,404 strikeouts in 2003.
