The Milwaukee Brewers and Brock Holt have agreed to terms on a contract, a source has confirmed.

Holt spent the last seven seasons with the Boston Red Sox.

The utility man is coming off a season in which he hit .297 with a .771 OPS in 87 games after missing the first two months with a scratched cornea and shoulder impingement.

The Arizona Diamondbacks have announced an agreement on a four-year, $32.5 million extension with Nick Ahmed.

The two-time Gold Glove winner's new deal runs through the 2023 season.

Ahmed, 29, was eligible for salary arbitration and had his hearing scheduled for Wednesday.

"At the end of the day, I'd rather be here than anywhere else," he said. "They presented me with an opportunity, I thought long and hard about it, and I took advantage of the opportunity."

The Cincinnati Reds have agreed to a one-year, $1.85 million deal with Pedro Strop.

Strop, 34, has been a fixture of the Chicago Cubs' bullpen for the last six years.

Cincinnati has committed more than $165 million on acquiring players this offseason.

The Seattle Mariners have signed Marco Gonzales to a four-year contract extension.

The extension, which begins in 2021, includes a club option for 2025. According to a report from The Athletic, the deal is worth $30 million.

Gonzales is entering his third full season with the Mariners after arriving in a 2017 trade with the St. Louis Cardinals. He gets $1 million this year in the final season of a $1.9 million, two-year deal.
