Marisnick, 28, wasn't an everyday player for the Astros. He's a slick fielder with an inconsistent bat.
"Jake is an elite defender who is an incredibly smart baserunner," Brodie Van Wagenen said in a statement. "Among our offseason plans was to improve defensively and he is one of the best in the game."
The outfielder has one year left on a contract that will pay him $3 million in 2020.
The Atlanta Braves have agreed to a one-year, $18 million deal with Cole Hamels.
Hamels didn't receive a qualifying offer from the Chicago Cubs, which means the Braves don't have to surrender a draft pick.
“When it came down to it, I wanted to play on a contender,” Hamels said. “I was very familiar with the Braves. I’ve watched them in the postseason and I’ve seen what they’ve been able to create. I’ve always been following them in hopes of maybe being able to pitch with some of those guys, because they have such good young talent. I know at my stage of my career what I could provide could be beneficial.”
Hamels posted a 3.81 ERA while logging 141 2/3 innings over 27 starts for the Cubs this season.
The Los Angeles Angels have acquired Dylan Bundy from the Baltimore Orioles for Minor League right-handers Isaac Mattson, Zach Peek, Kyle Bradish and Kyle Brnovich.
Bundy, 27, has made 28 starts in each of the least three seasons.
He posted a 4.79 ERA with 162 strikeouts, 58 walks and 29 homers allowed in 161 2/3 innings this past season.
Bundy, who made $2.8 million in his second year of arbitration last season, is also under team control through 2021.

An announcement said that as part of the agreement "Fred Wilpon will remain in the role of the Control Person and CEO for five years and Jeff Wilpon will remain in his role of Chief Operating Officer for the five-year period as well."
Bloomberg reported that Cohen is in talks to acquire up to 80% of the team, which would be valued at $2.6 billion.
The Los Angeles Angels have reached a deal with the city of Anaheim to keep baseball in the area through at least 2050.
The deal also gives the organization full control of its stadium.
The City of Anaheim agreed on Tuesday to sell Angel Stadium and the 133 acres of surrounding land for $325 million to SRB Management LLC, of which Angels owner Arte Moreno is a partner.
In exchange, the Angels have agreed to stay in Anaheim through at least 2050.
