Charlie Morton could become an attractive trade target for clubs in need of pitching as the free agent market dries up.

Morton is owed $15 million in 2020 and finished third in AL Cy Young voting this past season.

The 36-year-old threw a career-high 204 2/3 innings for the Tampa Bay Rays in 2019.

Morton's contract includes a 2021 option that will vest at $15 million if he spends no more than 30 days on the injured list in 2020.
