Jake Arrieta is drawing interest from the Toronto Blue Jays, Texas Rangers and Colorado Rockies, according to a report.

The Minnesota Twins and Milwaukee Brewers have also been linked to the right-hander.

Arrieta, 31, 14-10 with a 3.53 ERA in 30 starts for the Chicago Cubs last season. He had 163 strikeouts in 168 1/3 innings.

The Toronto Blue Jays could emerge as "a dark horse candidate" to sign J.D. Martinez, according to a report.

Jose Bautista isn't expected to return to the Blue Jays and they are still looking to replace the offensive production they lost when Edwin Encarnacion left in free agency last offseason.

However, Martinez is reportedly seeking a contract in the $200 million range, which would put him out of Toronto's price range.

The Blue Jays are also believed to be interested in Jay Bruce.

The Tampa Bay Rays have renewed interest in Jose Bautista after pursuing the slugger last winter as well.

Bautista's agent, Jay Alou, said his client is open to playing different positions.

The 37-year-old hit .203/.308/.366 with 23 home runs and 65 RBIs across 686 plate appearances last season.
