The Toronto Blue Jays are in the process of finalizing plans to renovate Rogers Centre, according to a report.

The renovations for the soon-to-be 33-year-old ballpark are expected to run more than $200 million and will redesign the stadium's lower bowl, and modernize the ballpark throughout. 

It was reported last year that the Blue Jays were looking into demolishing Rogers Centre and building a new stadium in the same location with sports-centered real estate development in the surrounding area.

The Toronto Blue Jays pursued Corey Seager prior to his 10-year, $325 million deal with the Texas Rangers, according to a report.

The Blue Jays were known to be attempting to re-sign Marcus Semien, who ultimately also joined the Rangers. Toronto wasn't comfortable matching the terms Seager received from Texas.
