The Blue Jays made a waiver claim Thursday, grabbing left-handed reliever Sean Henn from the Orioles.
To make room for Henn on the 40-man roster, the Jays designated catcher Michael Barrett for assignment.
Henn, 28, has bounced around quite a bit the past few years. He split his '09 season between the Twins and Orioles, compiling an 0-3 record and 7.53 ERA in 26 total appearances. After signing a Minor League deal with the Twins, he began the year at Triple-A Rochester, where he was 1-1 with a 2.33 ERA in 28 games. The O's acquired him in early September.
The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Henn was a 26th-round pick in the 2000 First-Year Player Draft by the Yankees.
