Ichiro Suzuki, who will be a free agent this winter, "strongly wants to stay with the Yankees," according to a person close to the multi-time All-Star.
Joel Sherman of the New York Post writes that a one-year deal worth between $5 million and $8 million might keep Ichiro in pinstripes.
He hit .322 with a .794 OPS in 67 games for the Yankees after a midseason trade.
