Tigers third base coach Gene Lamont regrets a huge decision made in the team's 2-0 loss in Game 2 of the World Series on Thursday night.

Lamont sent Fielder home from third with no outs in what was a scoreless game at the time.

"Well, you know, if I had it to do over I probably would have held him," he said. "We haven't been scoring runs and I got overly aggressive, I guess. I just saw that ball bounce off the wall..."

Fielder was thrown out by an inch or two thanks to a long throw, a cut, another long throw and a swipe tag in the second inning. The Tigers never again reached third base.
