According to people familiar with the team's thinking, the Brewers are seriously considering a run at Josh Hamilton this offseason.

It doesn't hurt that Milwaukee's hitting coach, Johnny Narron, is very close to Hamilton from their days together in Cincinnati and Texas.

Brewers owner Mark Attanasio declined comment on the report.
