Yu Darvish will reportedly meet with the Houston Astros and Texas Rangers as he progresses through free agency.

Darvish met face-to-face with the Chicago Cubs earlier this week.

Jon Daniels claimed that the Rangers had no meeting planned with Darvish.

Cole Hamels and his wife, Heidi, have donated a mansion and 100 acres of land in southwest Missouri to a charity that provides camps for children with special needs and chronic illnesses.

The 32,000-square-foot home was gifted to Camp Barnabas on Friday. Realtor.com listed the property at $9.4 million at the time of the donation.

"Seeing the faces, hearing the laughter, reading the stories of the kids they serve; there is truly nothing like it," Hamels said in the statement. "Barnabas makes dreams come true, and we felt called to help them in a big way."

The Hamels never moved into the Missouri house.

Texas acquired Matt Moore in a trade with the San Francisco Giants on Friday, raising the possibility of four left-handers in the Rangers' rotation.

"As far as the four lefties, generally it's a good thing," Rangers general manager Jon Daniels said. "I realize there's some very heavy right-handed clubs in our division. With the exception of Martin [Perez], the other three guys have been very effective against righties in their career."

Texas sent minor league right-handers Israel Cruz and Sam Wolff to the Giants. The Rangers also received $750,000 in international signing bonus pool allotment from the Giants.

The Texas Rangers have discussed pitching with the Arizona Diamondbacks and Zack Greinke's name has been featured in talks, according to a report.

Arizona is coming off a 93-win season, but Greinke has one of the biggest contracts in baseball.

Texas is looking to add a front-of-the-rotation starter this winter.

The Texas Rangers have signed free-agent shortstop Yenci Pena, one of the players taken from the Atlanta Braves as punishment for circumventing international signing rules, according to multiple reports.

The Chicago Cubs, Seattle Mariners and Texas Rangers met with Shohei Otani on Tuesday as the Japanese phenom continues to sit down with Major League suitors, according to multiple reports.

Otani reportedly met with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Angels and San Francisco Giants on Monday.

The San Diego Padres are also expected to meet with Otani.

The window for Ohtani to negotiate with clubs will expire at 11:59 p.m. ET on Dec. 22.

The Texas Rangers have agreed to a contract with Mike Minor pending a physical, according to a source.

Minor underwent shoulder surgery in May 2015 and did not pitch in the Major Leagues that year or in 2016.

The left-hander logged a 2.55 ERA and 1.01 WHIP and strike out 88 batters in 77⅔ innings of relief with the Kansas City Royals this past season.
