Dee Gordon Suspended 80 Games

Major League Baseball has suspended Dee Gordon, who won the National League batting title in 2015, for 80 games for violating the game's performance-enhancing drug policy.

The Miami Marlins infielder tested positive for the performance-enhancing substances exogenous testosterone and clostebol.

Gordon, 28, will lose about $1.65 million in salary during the suspension.

Blue Jays outfielder/first baseman Chris Colabello was suspended 80 games without pay for testing positive for a performance-enhancing substance, Major League Baseball announced on Friday.

Colabello's positive test for dehydrochlormethyltestosterone, an anabolic steroid that is sold under the name Turinabol, was a violation of MLB's joint drug prevention and treatment program. His suspension is effective immediately.
