Major League Baseball has suspended Dee Gordon, who won the National League batting title in 2015, for 80 games for violating the game's performance-enhancing drug policy.

The Miami Marlins infielder tested positive for the performance-enhancing substances exogenous testosterone and clostebol.

Gordon, 28, will lose about $1.65 million in salary during the suspension.

Blue Jays outfielder/first baseman Chris Colabello was suspended 80 games without pay for testing positive for a performance-enhancing substance, Major League Baseball announced on Friday.

Colabello's positive test for dehydrochlormethyltestosterone, an anabolic steroid that is sold under the name Turinabol, was a violation of MLB's joint drug prevention and treatment program. His suspension is effective immediately.

Major League Baseball has extended the paid administrative leave period of Hector Olivera by two weeks.

The league wants to further investigate his arrest for alleged domestic violence, according to a report.
