The Seattle Mariners are in talks with Mark Trumbo, according to a report.

The two sides have spoken, but the seriousness of the conversations hasn't been confirmed.

There is a history between Trumbo and Mariners general manager Jerry Dipoto, who were together with the Los Angeles Angels.

Free-agent lefty reliever Marc Rzepczynski has agreed to a two-year, $11 million deal with the Mariners, an MLB source told ESPN's Jerry Crasnick on Friday.

Rzepczynski, 31, posted a 2.64 ERA in 47⅔ innings last season for the Athletics and Nationals.
