David Price is staying with the Boston Red Sox as he will not exercise the opt-out clause in his contract.

"I'm opting in. I'm not going anywhere," Price said. "I want to win here. We did that this year and I want to do it again."

The third season of Price's seven-year deal with the Red Sox was his best. He posted a 16-7 record and 3.58 ERA. The left-hander has four years and $127 million remaining on the seven-year, $217 million contract he signed before the 2015 season.
