The Los Angeles Dodgers are bringing David Freese back on a one-year, $5 million deal.

The Dodgers held a $6 million option on Freese, but they didn't exercise it. Instead, Freese received a $500,000 buyout as well as $4.5 million under his new contract, according to multiple reports.

Freese was 8-for-20 with two home runs, six RBIs and a walk in 14 postseason games for the Dodgers while platooning at first base.
