The Los Angeles Dodgers left Curtis Granderson off their World Series roster after he hit just .150 with 41 strikeouts in 127 at-bats since coming over from the New York Mets.

Granderson turns 37 in March and will be a free agent.

"Mentally and physically I feel as if I want to [keep playing]," he said. "But it is up to what 30 ballclubs say. Everything is in play."

If his playing career is over, Granderson wants to remain involved in baseball but doesn't want to manage, coach or work in a front office.

"I want to help MLB in some capacity," Granderson said. "I want to be open to see what is out there."
