Josh Reddick is thrilled that the Houston Astros are matched up with the Los Angeles Dodgers in the World Series and not just because he wants to win a championship.
Reddick played for the Dodgers for a portion of the 2016 season and wasn't happy with how fans treated him.
"Personally, I wouldn't rather do it against any other team," he said. "I wasn't really a fan favorite there. I got booed a lot as a home player. I didn't really fit in, it seemed like they thought. I tried to put that behind me. But I think it's going to be fun to go back, especially to beat them. It's going to be a really good feeling for me personally."
Reddick hit .258/.307/.335 with two home runs in 47 games for L.A.
"Nothing against that team, the organization," he continued. "There's a lot of history and a lot of great guys over there. But the fan base. I think it'd be more personal for me to win."
