Scott Rolen reportedly wants to continue his baseball career this coming season.

A return to the Reds seems unlikely as the team has Todd Frazier and Jack Hannahan set for a platoon at third base.

Rolen, who'll turn 38 just after Opening Day, is coming off a season in which he batted .245/.318/.398 across 330 plate appearances.

He has battled shoulder and back problems throughout recent history, and his last standout season at the plate was 2010.
