Major League Baseball has been independently investigating suspected links between alleged performance-enhancing substances supplier Anthony Bosch and several big league stars.

MLB is continuing its investigation, broadening efforts and scope where additional leads have developed, such as those reported this week in the Miami New Times.

League officials will travel to Florida to meet with the publication's editors and lawyers to see if they can obtain the records that implicate Alex Rodriguez, Nelson Cruz, Gio Gonzalez and others.
