The Marlins have interest in signing right-hander Ricky Nolasco to a long-term deal, but they may have to settle for a one-year contract. Nolasco's agent, Matt Sosnick, has been doing his pre-work on a one-year deal. Sosnick said the sides have agreed on the number of years, but are "about 20 percent" off on the salary. He anticipates talks to pick up again in November or December.
