Major League Baseball marked the official start of All-Star Balloting for the 86th All-Star Game, which will be held on Tuesday, July 14th at Great American Ball Park, the home of the Cincinnati Reds on Wednesday.

For the first time, the All-Star Balloting Program will be conducted exclusively online.  Beginning today, fans around the world can cast their votes for starters 35 times exclusively at MLB.com and all 30 Club web sites – online or via their mobile devices – with the 2015 Esurance MLB All-Star Game Ballot.

New commissioner Rob Manfred intends to announce Monday that Washington's Nationals Park will host the 2018 All-Star Game, a person familiar with MLB's plans told The Associated Press.

The person spoke Sunday on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the site of the game ahead of the official announcement.

Washington would be the fourth consecutive NL team to host the All-Star Game, following the Reds this year, the Padres in 2016 and the Marlins in 2017.
