A mystery team has surfaced in the race to sign Carlos Rodon and the club is reportedly the St. Louis Cardinals.

The Cardinals only have two starting pitchers under control beyond the 2023 season -- Dakota Hudson and Steven Matz.

Rodon has also been linked to the New York Yankees, Minnesota Twins, Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers.
