The Major League Baseball Players Association is pushing back against comments made by Rob Manfred that claimed the union wanted player immunity in the Houston Astros' sign-stealing investigation.

Tony Clark issued a statement on Wednesday firing back at Manfred's comments, claiming the commissioner told him from the beginning that no players would be punished during the investigation.

If the scandal leads to any changes to the collective bargaining agreement, they could come soon. The current agreement runs through the 2021 season.
