The Washington Nationals are World Series champions, but free agency is expected to hit them hard this offseason.

Anthony Rendon will hit the open market and Stephen Strasburg, who was named World Series MVP, is opting out of his contract.

It's likely that the Nationals will have to choose between Rendon and Strasburg. Both players are expected to sign contracts north of $200 million.

Strasburg's previous contract had an average annual value of $25 million.
