The New York Yankees have agreed to a deal with Troy Tulowitzki, according to sources.

The deal, which is pending a completed physical, doesn't take the Yankees out of the race to sign Manny Machado.

Tulowitzki was released by the Toronto Blue Jays in December. They will pay the majority of his $20 million contract, with the Yankees responsible only for the league-minimum $555,000.

Injuries have limited Tulowitzki to just 66 games the last two years, including none last season.
