The New York Mets are interested in A.J. Pollock as a target in free agency.
While appearing on MLB Network Radio, new Mets general manager Brodie Van Wagenen said the Mets have been in contact with Pollock's representatives about a possible match.
Pollock, who turned 31 on Wednesday, has been limited to 12, 112 and 113 games over the last three seasons due to injury.
