The Miami Marlins have hired Mel Stottlemyre, Jr. as pitching coach.

Trey Hillman will also join Don Mattingly's staff as first base and infield coach.

Stottlemyre, Jr. was the pitching coach for the Seattle Mariners from 2016-18.
