The Texas Rangers are nearing an agreement on a contract with first-round pick Cole Winn.

A pitcher out of Orange Lutheran High School (CA), Winn was the 15th overall pick earlier this month.

Winn is expected to sign for close to the $3,738,500 slot value attached to the selection.
