Bartolo Colon has pitched well this spring and could find his way into the rotation for the Texas Rangers.

Cole Hamels, Matt Moore and Doug Fister appear to be locks for the Rangers at the top of the rotation, but things then get murky. Mike Minor is a candidate for a starting spot, but could be made into a late-inning reliever.

Martin Perez and Clayton Blackburn are also candidates.

Colon, 44, is in camp on a Minor League contract.

"I don't think about it, because I have been in the game so long," Colon said of his future through an interpreter. "I just have my job and let them make a decision."

In three exhibition appearances, Colon has a 1.04 ERA, giving up one earned run in 8⅔ innings. He has struck out six, walked one and allowed nine hits.
