Bo Jackson is serving as a guest coach for the Kansas City Royals this spring.

Jackson, 55, has an undefined role for the club he last played for in 1990.

"Anything I want to do," he said, laughing. "I've been told I have diplomatic immunity."

The Royals drafted Jackson in the fourth round in 1986. He was expected to play football, but signed with the Royals instead of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who had drafted him first overall.

A year later, the Los Angeles Raiders took Jackson in the seventh round and he signed.
