The Dodgers agreed to a one-year deal with second baseman Chase Utley on Sunday, fortifying their infield depth as they prepare for more moves at this week’s Winter Meetings, sources told Yahoo Sports.

Utley, 37 this month, was traded to the Dodgers in August after spending his first 12 seasons with the Phillies. A six-time All-Star, he played primarily as a backup, a role he’s expected to continue in 2016.
