The Red Sox are finalizing a deal with free-agent infielder Hanley Ramirez, and it is expected to be in the range of five years and $90M, reported Sunday.

Ramirez was set to arrive in Boston on Monday to finalize terms of the deal, according to the report.

Multiple outlets earlier reported it was unclear whether the club was planning to sign Ramirez as a third base consolation prize, should the Pablo Sandoval deal fall through, or in addition to a deal with the Giants' star.
