David Price hasn't been focusing on whether or not he will come to terms with the Detroit Tigers on a contract extension this offseason.

Price is arbitration eligible for the final time this winter, meaning he's eligible for free agency after the 2015 season.

The Tigers acquired Price from the Tampa Bay Rays at midseason, but Detroit was swept by the Baltimore Orioles in the ALDS.

"I don't know," Price said of a possible extension. "That's out of my control. That's the last thing that's on my mind right now. I'm not worried about that."

Price finished the 2014 regular season with a 15-12 record and a 3.26 ERA, including a 4-4 record and a 3.59 ERA for the Tigers.

"It was special," Price said of his time in Detroit this season. "It wasn't something that I wished would happen, just being traded in general, but being traded to this team and this organization, it's been a blessing. The way that the front office, Dave (Dombrowski) included, all the guys in the clubhouse, my teammates, they treated me in extremely well, both in the clubhouse and on the field. So that's all I can ask.

"These guys work their tails off and it was good."
