Fernando Rodney, who is now pitching for the Seattle Mariners, said he wanted to re-sign with the Tampa Bay Rays this past offseason.

However, the reliever never received an offer from the Rays.

Rodney had a 3.38 ERA and 37 saves for Tampa Bay last season. He has a 2.30 ERA and a league-leading 11 saves for Seattle in 2014.
