Carlos Beltran left Monday night's game against the New York Mets with a hyperextended right elbow.

Beltran suffered the injury working in the indoor batting cage between his at-bats.

He went for an MRI on Monday night, but the New York Yankees have not released the results.

"I'm concerned because it was enough for him to take himself out of the game," Joe Girardi said.

The 37-year-old is hitting .234/.286/.430 with five home runs and 15 RBIs this season.
