The New York Yankees may target Carlos Beltran this winter and the slugger has some mutual interest, according to sources.

The Yankees could be in the market for an outfielder as they look to bolster their offense.

Beltran fits that mold with an average of 28 home runs during his two seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals.

According to source, Beltran, who will be 37 in April, would consider signing with the Yankees.
