If the Mets are able to reach quick agreements with David Wright and R.A. Dickey, they could sign the stars to new contracts before the World Series.

Sandy Alderson has said that the Mets would prefer to move quickly with both players.

Wright and Dickey are both under club control for 2013, but they have indicated that they would test free agency next winter if they do not receive new deals by spring training.
