The Orioles have a $11 million team option on Mark Reynolds for 2013, which includes a $500,000 buyout.

After a slow start to the season, picking up that option seemed highly unlikely,  but at this point the topic is up for debate.

Reynolds has 21 home runs and 65 RBIs and leads the Orioles with 70 walks.

The organization wants him back, but likely at a reduced rate. They could decline his option and negotiate a lower deal, but Reynolds could become a free agent and find a more lucrative deal elsewhere.
