Justin Morneau, who couldn't play less than a year ago because of concussion issues, is hitting right-handed pitching like an elite slugger.
He has 10 home runs and almost a .500 slugging percentage against right-handers, numbers close to stars like Joey Votto, Carlos Gonzalez and Josh Hamilton.
His 1.070 OPS against righties is fifth best in the major leagues.
However, the Minnesota first baseman is not hitting lefties.
Of the 168 hitters who qualify for the batting title, Morneau ranks 168th in batting average (.097), 168th in on-base percentage (.123) and 163rd in slugging percentage (.210) against lefties.
