The Braves have placed Brandon Beachy on the disabled list with a sore right elbow. The right-hander leads the Major Leagues with his 2.00 ERA. He will have an MRI on Monday. Beachy left Saturday night's game against Baltimore in the fourth inning. "I'm hoping it's bone spurs still," he said. "It's time to find out for sure, so that's what we're going to do."
