The velocity of Michael Pineda's fastball has been a hot topic this spring, but the Yankees right-hander isn't overly concerned. Instead, he's focused on adding a third pitch to his arsenal. "I don't know," he said after Thursday's start against the Nationals. "I'm not focused on my fastball, I'm focused on my game." Pineda is working on a changeup to add alongside his fastball and slider. "The changeup, the way it is now, is going to be very, very good," said Yankees pitching coach Larry Rothschild, "if the power is there." Pineda's average velocity last year ranked fifth in the game at 94.2 mph, but he's hovered around 90 mph or 91 mph this spring.
