Johnny Damon isn't sure why he has yet to receive a contract offer as a free agent this offseason. Tampa Bay never made him an offer to come back and now it appears as though he is the second choice of the Yankees as they look to add a left-handed designated hitter. "I think it's a perfect fit," Damon said of New York. "But for some reason you have the year I had, especially with a team that has trouble scoring, and you can't even get a call to continue playing." The Yankees are believed to prefer Raul Ibanez at this point.
