Hiroki Kuroda wanted to stay with the Dodgers so badly this past summer that he blocked trades to the Red Sox and Tigers, according to Major League sources. However, now that Los Angeles has effectively replaced Kuroda with Chris Capuano, his options are "wide open," according to a source. Kuroda, who turns 37 on Feb. 10, is considering all options, the source said, including major-league teams regardless of location as well as the Hiroshima Carp, his former club in Japan.
