The Yankees completed a four-game sweep of the White Sox on Thursday night behind the pitching of stater Ivan Nova. In doing so, New York became just the third team since 1900 to sweep a four-game series without issuing a single walk. The last team to do so was the 1968 Red Sox, who also swept the White Sox. The first club to complete the feat was the 1905 Americans, who failed to issue a free pass against the Senators.
