Ozzie Guillen remains the manager of the White Sox, but he is making it clear that he'd be open to managing the Marlins next season if not in Chicago and offered the job.
"If it's time for me to go to the Marlins, I will go with a lot of class," Guillen said. "It [would] be an honor to manage the Marlins."
The Marlins approached the White Sox about Guillen last year, but backed away when Chicago demanded a premium player in return simply to talk to the manager.
"If the White Sox don't want me to be with the White Sox anymore, then [we'll] think about something," Guillen said.
