Giants manager Bruce Bochy says the team has toyed with the idea of preparing Pablo Sandoval to catch again in the wake of Buster Posey's season-ending injury. San Francisco wouldn't ask Sandoval to catch everyday, but rather twice a week. Sandoval has not caught since 2009, when he played only three games at the position. His last days as a regular catcher were in 2008, his rookie season. "It wouldn't take as long as you might think," Bochy said of Sandoval's preparation. "Once you're a catcher, and you get back there for a game or two, you get the feel of it."
