The Athletics could have closer Andrew Bailey back by the end of the month, according to manager Bob Geren. Bailey completed his first bullpen session on Monday as he works his way back from a strained forearm. "The good news is it looked free and easy," Geren said, "and it's coming out of his hand well." Bailey threw 20 pitches, all fastballs, at a 75 percent exertion level.
