White Sox right-hander Jake Peavy doesn't mind the idea of the team using a six-man starting rotation.
Chicago would employ the strategy when they have a long stretch without a day off.
"Any time you can get any rest in between, it makes sense to do," Peavy said, "If you look back on numbers with an extra day of rest, I think I've always been better."
Peavy threw a 32-pitch bullpen sessions without any discomfort on Monday. He is working back from a torn shoulder muscle.
