The Orioles and outfielder Adam Jones have avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year contract, according to a report in the Baltimore Sun. The terms of the deal were not released. Jones hit .284 with 19 home runs and 69 RBIs for the Orioles in 2010. The Orioles now have four players -- Jeremy Guthrie, J.J. Hardy, Felix Pie and Luke Scott -- who are arbitration-eligible.
